My trip to Texas

So my BFF"S hubby Jonathan flew me down to Texas from Idaho Falls to visit her for a week back in July! Thank you so much Jonathan! It is great to have a friend who you can act totally care free & goofy & they do they same. See pics down below. We act crazy & think its fun & laugh about it. There are very few people I can do this with since I am not sure how some will think about the way I am, so I keep it to a very few. I am a very weird crazy person & love being silly & so does Jayne can you tell! Maybe that's why she is one of my BFF's. While I was there we went to Olive Garden ( a tradition of ours cause our hubby's don't like it) this was a big night out yet very fun. We went & hung out with another friend of her's that we can act crazy around Jewel. We went to Sanger to hang with her & went to the cemetery to visit Jayne's mom (Her mom loved me & vice versa & I was not able to go to the funeral )we checked on her dad's house since he was out of town. I haven't been to her parents house since we were in college on our road trip we took. We went to church, played some games, watched some really funny movies, went to six flags,went to chucke cheese, and of course who could forget some really awesome shopping. Before I got here I wanted to have a game night so I that could meet a few of her close friends. So we had a game night that turned into a chat fest instead but oh so fun. I now wants to move to Texas cause I thinks that everyone is amazing & so friendly. Oh how I wish that my hubby would move here! That would be so awesome!!! The favorite part of my visit was just the time we spent & chatting up a storm. I loved it & I love her so much! I am so blessed where I can see her once a year! Thanks Jayne for having me in your beautiful home. I love your family...

I know it has been a bit since I have been on, but better late than never right? So on Easter weekend we thought that we would take the kiddos to play at the park and of course they LOVED it. It was great fun for ALL of us.. It was still pretty cold so we couldn't stay for very long, but we all needed to get out of the house so we didn't really mind the cold...

Monster Truck Show 4.16.11

We took the boy t0 the Monster Trucks Show down in Pocatello again this year and they loved it

It's alot of fun to see them get so excited with some of the tricks that the truck can do..

This year they took a bit longer to get the last part all set up that Braydon even fell asleep waiting....not real sure how he stayed asleep after the trucks started going again but he did poor little guy was tired...

Kaislyn had her BIG Birthday on Sunday. I can't even believe that she is 1. Where oh where did the time go?Sometimes I for get how tiny she was and I find my self looking at her new born pictures. This past year has been so much fun with all the bows, dresses, dolls and pink everything, well except her purple room. It as also been filled with much love, joy, laughter and tears. We feel so blessed to have this BEAUTIFUL little girl in our lives. There are so many days that I just set back and watch her play and grow. Kaislyn is such a happy and loving baby. She loves to give her big brothers lots of love sometimes its more than they can handle. One of the things that she has started to do is run to the door when she hears her daddy come in from work it's one of the cutest things ever. We are so glad that she picked us to be with as a family! We love you baby girl!!

11 months really?

Kaislyn turned 11 months on the 20th of Feb. I know I am a little bit behide, but I say better late than never right.

We are so in love with little one, has it really been almost one year since this sweet child blessed our lives? Oh how we are so very greatful to have her in our family and how the boys love her so much. Its's so cute to watch them play with her.

Thoughts on the Bachelor....

1)I can't figure Brad out. Is he sincere? Is he fake? Is he smart? Is he dumb? Is it just me or does he talk really sooo with that kind of southren drawl and that everything that he says seems scripted, or is it that he just chooses his words wisely? Is it just me or does he say the world "please" way more often than a normal person. There have been times that he catches himself saying something without the word "please" in it and has to go back and re-phrase what he had just said. He will at times say something funny but yet he will keep a serious face. I really want to like him, but something is just so awkward about him..

2)When I watch the Bachelor I will talk to myself and sometimes I will talk out loud. I will also roll my eyes and throw my hands in the air like" WHAT IN THE WORLD" and shake my head in disgust.

Here are some of the things that I will blurt out while watching:

-No way

-Are you serious

-Awww sick

-Oh no

-Don't do it

-Brad send her HOME

-etc

3)Michelle: What in the world? Is this some kind of new trend... to have a crazy girl named "Michelle" on this show. Don't yall remember the "Michelle" from Jake's season? Do you really think that he wants to keep her around or is it that ABC makes Brad keep her around because she is good entertaiment?

4)My faves are:

-Emily is adorable, and she is from NC so that makes me like her that much more. Her story is so sad it makes me rute for her more. I really want to see her get the fairy tail ending that all girls want when they find LOVE.. -Britt is adorable as well.. She has such a cute personality. 5)I hate how they are all getting so emotional and depressed when they don't get enough attention or when they hear that Brad kissed someone else. Um.... HELLO you're on the Bachelor, what did you think was going to happen?

Ten Months Aready Wow!

Kaislyn Faith turned 10 months old today. She is such a delightful little baby. We are having so much fun with her. I love being able to teach her new things every day. It is so different after having to little boys. She has got the sweetest little personality. It has been great to see her play and try to keep up with her big brothers. She is everywhere now, well has been for some time now, but now she is pulling out my pots and pan, into the bathroom when she knows that no one is looking or when the boys forget to close the door. I tell you what if she is anything like her big brothers when she gets older than I guess that Tory and I will be very busy!

At 10 months she is :

~Standing on her own

~She is a dancing machine, onces she hears music she bounces away

~Loves to snuggle and cuddle mommy and daddy

~Has three teeth and man are they sharp

~Crawling at top speeds

~Very much a mommy's girl

~Talking up a storm, if olny I knew what she was saying

~Not to sure about her sippie

~Makes it very difficult to change her diapers... she want to just roll every where

The kids let us sleep in until 8:00, I was pretty shocked that they didn't have us up at like 6 or something. I would have to say that the day went pretty good. It was a low key kind of a day.

Our little baby girl is growing and changing so quickly. She turned 5 months old on the 20th! I honestly can't believe it, time is going by to fast for me, but I love all the new little things she can do. It seems she is constantly learning something new and Kaislyn is so curious now!

This past weekend was our beautiful baby girl's blessing. She did so good through it. Tory did such an amazing job, I have to admit that I did get a bit teary eyed. After words we went over to my in-laws for a wonder family dinner. We all had a great time setting around, eating and visiting with each other and we all left very full. Over all it was a perfect day and I'm so grateful for my amazing family and so blessed to have three beautiful children and a loving husband. I fill very luck!

Outside doing yard work and playing outside with the boys, I truned around only to find Braydon was not anywhere to be seen I was looking everywhere and this is where I found him. It was so cute.

grocery shopping rules 101

While going grocery shopping with the children, there needs to be certain rules that one must follow in order to have a more positive experience for all parties involved. (It also helps to ensure the safety of the children from certain angry mothers...)

1-When choosing a parking spot, you must park closest to the cart corral. Not only does this bring entertainment to the children when you are unloading your grocery, but it enables you to quickly deliver the cart without too much inattentiveness to your offspring.

2-Trainning your little ones to ride on the side of the cart is acceptable, just as long as there is an equal amount of weight on both sides of the cart. Otherwise the cart will probably tip over.

3-Have your grocery list in hand and what ever you do don't give it to your baby if you want to read what is on that list, because they will invariably eat it.

4-Circle the perimeter of the store to pick up the "boring" items first: fruits, veggies, meats, etc. DO NOT give treats to the little rugrats until the end of the trip. Having them promise to be good while holding a bag of candy never works out.

5-Always be aware of where you stop your cart, if you need to price something out. For example, you need to grab cereal, do NOT stop the cart right in front of the fruit snacks as this will cause excessive commotion. Pause, if you must, stop in front of the coffee. A much better alternative. Ideally, with practice, you can learn the "walk and grab technique" which doesn't allow anytime for the children to be aware of potential treats.

6-Having stuff your pockets with corn chex from home is really handy in a pinch.

7-And lastly, to prevent all dismay and pulling out of hair, then you should leave the children at home with their father and take as long as you need to. Maybe by going grocery shopping in the next city.

Kaislyn is already 3 weeks old, I can't even believe how fast the time goes by. She is doing really well and she is such a good little baby.

So here is the story, I went to the doctors on the 18th and the doctor told me that I was dilated to a 4 I was like no way. I asked her if she thought that I would make it until next Thursday and she said she didn't think so, so I called my best friend Jayne because we bought her a flight out here for the birth and had to see if she could get here sooner. She got a flight out here the very next day she did not land until 11pm. Tory and I were there ready to pick her up after leaving the airport we went to wal-mart to pick up a few things before stopping at the hospital. We arrived at the hospital at 1am. After a reatless night at the hospital Kaislyn Faith entered the world at 11:17 am. I was so glad when she came out because I felt everything, my epidural did not work even after the doctor gave me 3 doses. I did it I delivered her (not that I had much of a choice). Jayne was able to spend a week here in Idaho with me and my family, she was such a big help. It was really nice to visit and hang out with her. She even stayed with me in the hospital because Tory actully got sick and was not able to stay with me. So we rented some chick flicks and watched them and of course awed at Kaislyn. Kaislyn ended up with jaundice and had to be put on a light blanket, so we called her our little "Glow Worm" I feel very blessed that Jayne was able to come and that she made it here just in time for this amazing blessing in my life.

Kaislyn Faith is here. She was born on Saturday March 20th. She was 6lbs 10oz and was 19 inches long.

We are both very happy to be home now and doing well. She is a very good baby.

35 weeks

I am 35 weeks and so ready to be done with this and meet my sweet baby girl. I am having a VERY hard time sleeping at night I am up like every hour, my back hurts like no other and so do my hips.

At 35 weeks my baby is as hefty as a honeydew melon. She should be 5 1/4 pounds by now and she should be more than 18 inches from her little head to her little heels. So with that said she does not have much room to maneuver in my belly, but she sure does try she moves all the time. I so can't wait to meet my little honeydew...

28 weeks

I can't believe that I am 28 weeks already. How ever I am very glad that I am b/c I only have 11 1/2 weeks left. I am very happy for that since this go around has not been very nice to me. Here are some pictures..

We had a pretty good Christmas this year it was really nice to have Christmas in our new house. So here is how it went for us. We put the boys to bed at 6:30 so that we could all the stuff done that we needed to so that we could get to bed before midnight and we did. I could not believe it. I was laying in bed and said to Tory be ready to get up sometime around 5:00, he says I know, but to our surprise they did not wake us up until 7:00. I thought wow what good little sleepers I have.

This year we had the Nicholls family Christmas dinner at our house and what a blast we all had. We really wish that Janelle and her family could have been here but they are in Germany and we missed having Brandon and his family here but they were in Texas.

Brittany Murphy Dead At 32 Of Cardiac Arrest!

LOS ANGELES — Brittany Murphy, the actress who got her start in the sleeper hit "Clueless" and rose to stardom in "8 Mile" before her movie roles declined in recent years, died Sunday in Los Angeles of what appeared to be natural causes, a Los Angeles County coroner's official said. She was 32.

Murphy was pronounced dead at 10:04 a.m.Sunday Dec 20th at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, hospital spokeswoman Sally Stewart said.

Murphy was transported to the hospital after the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a call at 8 a.m. at the home she shared with her husband, British screenwriter Simon Monjack, in the Hollywood Hills.

Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter said Murphy apparently collapsed in the bathroom, and authorities were looking into her medical history.

An official cause of death may not be determined for some time, since toxicology tests will be required, but "it appears to be natural," Winter said. He said an autopsy was planned for Monday or Tuesday.

Winter said Murphy's family was cooperating with the coroner's investigation. Funeral arrangements have not been announced, he said.

Los Angeles police have opened an investigation into Murphy's death, Officer Norma Eisenman said. Detectives and coroner's officials were at Murphy and Monjack's home Sunday afternoon but did not talk to reporters. Paparazzi were camped outside the multistory home, located above the Sunset Strip.

Blue or Pink?

Where do I even begin? On the 18th I had a doctors appointment it was the one where we were to find out the sex of the baby and Tory was not able to get off work so I had to go by myself. So I thought it would be cool to find out together later that day when he got home. So I had a friend bake a cake(thank you so much Kylie) and the inside would be BLUE for a BOY and PINK for a GIRL and we would cut into it that night. It was really hard to not know all day long but I did it and man it was the best surprise ever.

The cake that would tells us what the sex of our baby would be...

As you can tell by my face that I was SO not expecting the inside of that cake to be PINK. I thought for sure that we were having another boy.

UTAH FUN!!

So last weekend we went to Utah with Tory's side of the family. We all had a blast. We went to the Zoo, Joe's crab shack and Lagoon. The best part was that I got to see Jayne(my BFF) she and her to kids went to the zoo and stayed the night. It was awesome that we were there at the same time. I woke up yesterday and could not believe that my baby was two. Where has the time gone. The past two years have been really great. We are so very blessed to have him in our family. So later that day we had his party at the park. We where joined with family.

When it came time to sing happy birthday to him he got really shy he turned his head to were no one could see his face so I turned my body so that they could. After the song was over and it was time to blow out the candle he was all over it.

At 24 months:

*he's obsessed with strawberries and bananas... he cannot get enough of them.
*he likes to say "okay mommy"
*he points his finger, shakes it and says no, no, no!
*likes to take his shoes off right when he gets in the car
*loves to dance when he here any kind of music
*still loves his bubble baths
*plays by him self really well
*he loves to play out in the garden (lots of dirt)
*his vocabulary is growing pretty quickly with new words being added daily.
*loves to ride his bike
*likes to play with other kids
*loves to read
*signings songs about daddy and mommy and his bobo(brother) while in the car... really cute

*loves going for "walks" in his stroller

4th of July fun!

We got up had breakfast then got dress and walked down to the parade yes that's right we get to walk to the parade because it goes passed the end of our street. The kids and a blast.

We sat with friends & family. After the parade we went down to the river and walked around. It was really hot so we took the boys home for a bit and let Braydon have a nap that he really needed badly.

After Braydon woke up from a most needed nap we had a BBQ that we needed to get to. So I got everything that we needed and out the door we went. It was really nice to let the kids just run around and play all after noon while us grown-ups sat and talked while eating some really good food.

After the BBQ we had lots of time before the fireworks later that night so we went and saw a friend and then picked up some things for Braydon's birthday party which will be on the 7th.

So at about 8:30 we packed up what we would need for the kids and made our way to the spot that we like to sit and watch the fireworks. We had about an hour and a half before they stared so we just let the kids run a play. We sit in a field every year so that we are not so close it works out really well because the fireworks are not to loud and you don't have to have your neck all the way back just to see them. The very best part about where we sit is that we get out right away and don't have to sit and wait on cars after words.

The fireworks were really pretty. I am so thankful that I was able to spend that night with my husband and kids. I would not want it any other way. Here is a BIG thanks to all those who have lost their lives or given a part of themselves for the sake of Independence. I am truly proud to be an American!!
The boys did pretty well for their age. Corbin is one that when he is tired everything and anything will bother him so after like 15 minutes he was ready to call it good. Braydon is one that will fight it as long as he can, he sat there for the whole thing very well. After it was over before we could even get all of our stuff together Braydon was trying to get in the car, he was so ready to go it was pretty funny. Corbin and Braydon were so ready for bed that night it was so nice to have them both go to bed with out a fight.

This is Zaylee she is a 7 weeks old yellow lab and is a great puppy. She is really great with the boys and the boys are really great with her. We are very excited to have a puppy and are excited to watch her grow into a very pretty dog. Tory is going to put her into a hunting training class. He want her to be able to go hunting with him this fall.

Tory and I were on a date something we have not done in a very long time. So our plans were to go to dinner and then a movie. So after a wonderful dinner we were ready to set down and enjoy a nice movie with out kids, after walking our of the restaurant we looked up and this is what we saw. So we thought that we would do a movie another night. I had remember that I had my camera with me so of course I just had to take some pictures of this and boy am I glad that I did, because they turned out so good!

The first picture looks like a huge wave is getting ready to fall right onto Idaho Falls. As I am looking at the sky and taking these amazing pictures I at the same time could not believe what I was looking at.I just kept saying how cool this was and that I was so glad that I was getting some really sweet pictures.

So about five minutes after we drove under the clouds we got hit hard with rain, wind and hail. The wind was so bad that it was blowing us off the road at that point I thought for sure that we were going to end up seeing a tornado. All I could think of was, we really need to get the boys and get home. Thank goodness we didn't get a tornado, but the wind that we did get really did a number on some of our trees.

Island Park

So this year for memorial we packed up our camper and went camping with some family. We went to Island Park. It was great Tory the kids and I went and dropped off our camper on Thursday night so that we would have a spot, we came back on Friday morning and we were both very surprised that when we got back to were we dropped off our camper at that there were only two other campers there. That is not how is was by the end of that day how ever. It was really nice and the boys had a blast. They got to go fishing, they got to ride on our 4 wheeler and of course they got to play in the dirt. They were in heaven. We had very nice weather it was in the 70's all weekend but on Sunday around 4 or so it rained,but not for long and the sun was back out.It was really nice to set back a watch the little guys play. There were times okay lots of times that we had to tell them to play nice but besides that it was nice to just set back and not do anything all weekend.

We went with Tory's step sister Laura and her family. Braydon and there son Mason are 5 weeks apart so it was nice to see the two of them play.

Mason and his daddy! Mason was so into the 4 wheeler it was so funny. Every time that they would be started he thought that he was going for a ride and when he did not get to go he would get really upset. He is all boy when it comes to the BIG toys.

Corbin had been asking Tory to take him fishing even before we got to Island Park. He was so excited it was so cute. The first night Tory took him down to the water near our camping spot but he did not get anything and he was VERY upset so the next day Tory took him to a different spot were he that this big guy. He was so happy but when I asked him to hold it he was like no way so I had Tory help him hold it. That's a pretty good size fish for a 4 1/2 year old.

Yes this is me sleeping. I lay ed Braydon down for his afternoon nap while Tory & Corbin were off fishing so I thought that I would take a nap myself. So when Tory and Corbin came back from fishing this is how they found me and thought that I needed my picture taken. Thanks honey.

This is a picture to show y'all the way that Tory found to put Braydon to sleep. It worked every time. So we had said "why do you need to be rocked when you have a Yamaha".

After it rained we moved the truck so that the little guys would not play in the water, well as you can see it did not work out so well for me, yes that's right Braydon found the water and went to town in it. It was a BIG mess.

Yesterday Jay and I turned 27. It does not seem like that much times has gone by for us to already be 27 years old, but you know what they say " time flies when your having fun".

It was a really nice birthday we had cake and ice cream over at my parents house the night before our birthday with my side of the family my sister and her family was not able to make it but I did talk to her on the phone and the night of my birthday we had cake and ice cream over at my house with Tory side of the family . It was really nice to be with family on my birthday. So I just want to say a big thanks to my whole family. I love all yall so very much!!

Corbin had come home from school one day with a paper to sign him up for soccer. I had asked him if he wanted to play and of course he yelled yes, yes ,yes I want to play soccer mommy. So we went to the school later that week to signed him up. Today was his first day and he was so excited. He did pretty good for have never played before. There are some things that I really need to work with him on like keeping the soccer ball on the ground and not touching the soccer ball with his hands, but other than that I think that he will do very well.

Easter Day

We had a great Easter. We got up and had a wonderful morning. Kids were happy so mom and dad were happy. We went to church and the boys looked so cute in their Easter outfits..

After church we came home and had afternoon naps which were great by the way. After we were all up and rested we put in a family movie while the roast finished cooking. Later that night after dinner was cleaned up we lat the boys color their eggs, and what a great job they did.

So I took the boys to an easter egg hunt on Saturday, and they had a blast. We met up with some family. Sadly Tory was not able to be there with us because he had to be at our new house at eight that morning. So he asked me to take lots of pictures for him so I did and of course I want to put them all up so I made a slide show. It was a beautiful day for an easter egg hunt.

After the easter egg hunt I took the boy over to my mother in laws so that I could go out and help Tory on the house. When we picked the boys up later that day I was told that they played very hard and was very tired. I was hoping that they would last until bed. When we got home Corbin ran right over to the couch and about 5 minutes this is what he looked like...

Later that night it rained and was cloudy but we got a beautiful rainbow out of it.

Moster Truck Grand Nationals

Tory and I wanted to take the kids out and doing something fun as a family saturday night, so we packed up some treats and then we headed down for the moster truck show. The kids well Corbin was very excited to see them, on the way there he would ask like every 5 minutes are we there yet, I would have to tell him no not yet. Braydon of couse had no clue as to where or what we were doing, but as soon as he saw the BIG MOSTER TRUCKS he was so excited and it was so cute to hear him try to say big truck. They both like beinning really close to the trucks. After finding our seats we put in our ear plugs and was all ready for the show to begin. After the show started I thought that Corbin would have been more into than he was and Braydon not into it at all ,but Braydon loved it he was way into it was so cute. The boys did way better than I thought they would do for as long as it was. We got there at 6pm and it did not even get started until 7:30pm and we did not leave until 12am. We got home at about 1am and of course after beinning in the car for about 5 to 10 minutes Corbin went right to sleep and Braydon stayed up until we were 6 miles from home ( it was about an hour drive). I would have to say that we all had a great time.

This is what we found after we got up and moving this morning. I said NO WAY is it snowing out side. For about a week we thought that spring was here, but I guess we were wrong. I am so ready for the warm weather and for the sun to be out so that we can take the kids out side to play.
So thank you Idaho for sending us all this snow, but we are so ready for spring at anytime..

I know that this is late, but they do say better late than never right. So my cousin and he sweet family came for a little visit in march. They made planes to go to Utah to visit his side of the family and so they made a little trip out of it and come to see us as well. They live in South Carolina. So it was so awesome to see them and spend some time with them. I had a blast with little Sarah Grace.

How cute is this? I fell in love with this after Corbin showed it to me. He made this in his class at school and I think that he did an awesome job with it. This is his second year of per-school and he loves it so much. He has really learned alot as well. He will be in per-school for one more year only because his birthday is late and misses the dead line for next years kindergarten class. I just can't believe that I have a child that is almost in kindergarten that is just so crazy to me so for me it is okay that he is going to be in per-school for one more year..

After a long and cold winter the kids have really wanted to get out of the house and play just like all of us. So we took them to a place here in Idaho Falls called Leo's place. We had so much fun playing games with the boys and watching them ride the rides. I know that they had lots of fun as well b/c when it came time to leave and go home they did not want to leave. This cute little squirrel sets is our kitchen window and it is so cute to watch him. The boys love it when he comes over and set in the window. They have named him Chip the squirrel. I thought that this was so cute and saw that the boys enjoy this so much that I started giving Chip some bread every now and then.

1. Where were you when you first found out you were pregnant? I was at home both times.

2. Who was with you? My husband

3. What was your first reaction? With the first one, I was super excited, but surprised because it took us a year and 5 months,with the 2nd one I was way surprised because we were on birth control.

4. What was your husband's reaction? He was very excited the first time,and was very surprised the 2nd time, but happy.

5. Who was the first person you told? Tory, of course. After him, my mom and mother in law were next. I had a hard time keeping it in, so people find out pretty quickly.
Jayne(best friend) was on her computer when we found out about Braydon so she was the 2nd one to know about that one Tory was the first.

6. Was the pregnancy planned? The first one was, the 2nd one no.

7. Was everyone happy for you? They seemed to be.

8. What was the sex? Two boys

9. What was the nursery theme/colors? Corbin's room was done in a outdoors theme and Braydon's is in jungle theme (green and brown) . Both super cute.

10. Did anyone throw a shower for you? I had one with Corbin.

11. Did you get any outfits you wouldn't use? I think I had a couple.

12. How much weight did you gain? With Corbin I gained 20 lbs, and with Braydon I gained 22 lbs.

13. Did you get stretch marks? With Corbin I got 4(2 on each side) and with Braydon none.

14. Did you crave anything crazy? I love ice cream with both

15. Who or what got on your nerves the most? Not being able to sleep in my bed after getting to big, and not having ice cream in the house.

19. Who drove you to the hospital? Tory did both times. It was in the middle of the night with both of them.

21. Who was in the room during delivery? When I had Corbin Tory the doctor and 2 friends Berry and Lynette,when I had Braydon it was Tory the doctor and my friend Berry.

25. What was your reaction to the birth? I cried and was way excited. With Corbin I got him right after he came out they cleaned him up right on me, it was pretty much the samething with Braydon.

26. How big was the baby? Corbin was 5 lbs 14 oz and 18 inches long and Braydon was 6 lbs 8 oz and 20 inches long.

My grandma came to visit us all the way from South Carolina. My mom had called me up and asked if I wanted to come over and hang out. I thought to my self that is odd but nice of her to do, so I went over and was taking the kids coats off and out pops my grandma it was awesome... Thank you mom for that awesome surprise..

Corbin vs. Wii

I can't get Corbin off the wii. It has been really fun to set back and watch him play on it. He has gotten really good at some of the games(better than me on some of them).

Christmas 2008

Christmas was really good this year. We got up at 8:30 and started our day with lots of hugs and kisses. Then I went out into the livingroom and took some pictures then the boys came out to see what they got. I know that they were both very happy with what they got. If you see a really red spot on Braydons face it is were SANTA gave him a kiss when he was here. You might not be able to see Corbin's b/c he rolls around in his sleep and rubed it off. Hope that yall all had a great christmas as well...

Our computer is down

I am so sorry that I have not been good about updateing our blog. Our computer has been down and I am not really sure on when it will be back up,but when we get it back up a going I will be puting a lot on here so just be ready to read and look at a lot of pictures.. Thanks Jennifer

We decided to put up the Christmas tree and the kids had a blast doing it. They put on all the ornaments them selfs. It was so much fun to see them so in to it. I hope that all yall have a wounderful christmas.

A VERY SAD WEEKEND!

On saturday December 6th Tory and I worked on the house after coming home that night we picked up our boys from my mother in laws and came home. A bit later we had some of our friends over for dinner and a movie. We put Braydon down for bed around 8pm and Corbin down around 8:30pm. After getting the boys into bed we started our movie and played a game. We also had our niece Lataya staying with us that night and it was such a blessing that she was there because we did not have to get Corbin up out of bed. At 11pm that night Braydon woke up and was coughing really bad and was having a difficult time breathing. I held him until he went back to sleep then he did the same thing so at 12:45am we took him to the hospital. They gave him a breathing treatment and told use that he has Croup, then sent us on are why back home. We got home around 4am and put him to bed he slept really good. Got up at 7:45am and was good to go for that day. Then after lunch he showed the same symptoms that he had that night. Tory then called his doctor and let them know of his symptoms they then told him that we needed to get him back to the ER so we did. We got there at about 4:30pm. He had it so bad that they wanted him to stay over night to make sure that his breathing would get better, but he had a really bad night so they made us stay another night. After the first night and first full day in the hospital we were hoping that he would have a good night so that we could go home that next morning. He had a very good night so they let us go home today.

I had no idea what Croup was. So for those of you who don't know here are some facts.
-Croup does not refer to a single illness, but rather a group of conditions involving inflammation of the upper airway that leads to a cough that sounds like a bark, particularly when a child is crying.
-Most Croup is caused by viruses, but similar symptoms may occasionally be caused by bacteria or an allergic reaction. The viruses most commonly involved are parainfluenza virus,adenovirus,respiratory syncytial virus,influenza,and measles.
-Most cases of Croup due to viruses are mild and can be treated at home,though rarely it can be sever and even life-threatening. Some kids are more prone to developing Croup,especially those who were born prematurely or with narrowed upper airways,and babies with a history of breathing problems like asthma.

Here is another update on the house. We now have the outer walls all up. I have a lot of picture and wanted to show most of them so I thought that I would make a little slide show. Hope that yall enjoy the updates and the pictures. I hope that we will be putting up the inside walls tomorrow. I will take pictures of it and post them as soon as I can.

New baby!

Damon and Cindy had their baby on the 26th she was 3 days late so we were all so excited when they called to say that they had the baby. They had a baby boy. They named him Tripp. He is a healthy, beautiful baby as you can very well see.

On tuesday I watch my twin brothers kids. They had such a good time playing. Corbin and Paige are 11 weeks apart so it is way for to see them play and have a good time together. Braydon and Samuel are also 11 weeks apart crazy I know but very true. They were so good and played so well.

Island Park weekend.

We thought that it would be nice to take the boys for little drive to Island Park. We had such a good time. After we turned onto this one road there were two moose standing right in front of us. It was really neat to see them way up close. We went up the road some more and thought it would be good to let the boys get out and walk around for a little bit. At first Corbin would not get out because of the moose that we had seen earlier, but then I told him that it was not going to come near us he was fine. He got out and after about 3 minutes he was to cold and did not want to be outside. Braydon on the other hand did not want to get back into the truck after getting out. He had so much fun playing in the snow and just walking all around. It was so cute to watch him in the snow. This was his first time in the snow and he would not keep on his gloves, but he still loved it.

Friday and saturday Tory and I put in 12 hours each out at the house, but for the most part we worked on some of the other houses. So on saturday after noon when our foremen said that we were going to start on our house we were so excited. We worked on getting the floor all done. We got most of it done,but then it got to be to dark to work.So Tory got up early so that he could go out there to finish it all up.The boys and I went out there this after noon to take him lunch and to see how it was coming along.He has worked so hard on it.
